Superbowl XLII

Happy Birthday Theresa! The infamous "yellow cake" with Alex and Kailee helping out!

Friends: Kerry & Chas

The kids had a blast together ... watching Scooby Doo!

SuperGrandma Julie and the kids ... she had Kailee on her shoulders, Alex on her back, and then was bending down to tie Chas' shoe. Thank god for the Corona ... I'm sure she probably felt THIS one on Monday morning!

What a great weekend! Had fun with mom and dad here and celebrated Theresa's birthday ...no, we didn't have a football cake, sorry - I'm not THAT talented. But it was the family favorite: yellow cake/chocolate frosting. Ask anyone what kind of a cake they want and this is it! Her birthday was on Sunday, so between that and Superbowl we had a great time. I think the kids outnumbered the adults on Sunday, but they were so good and had an absolute blast playing with each other! Had some friends over that we hadn't seen in a while and enjoyed hanging out! Bryan BBQ'd hot dogs and hamburgers and we had plenty of snacking and drinking mixed in there, THAT'S for sure. It was actually pretty chilly here on Sunday, so we had the firepit going which helped quite a bit! Think everyone with the exception of a couple of people were rooting for the Giants. I suppose it was the icing on the cake when we gave Fred his pool money at the end of the game ... he was a bit hesitant and REALLY didn't want it. :) Cameron and Alex won a couple of times, so they thought they were pretty cool. At any rate, it was a great weekend and we had a blast! It's nice to be able to hang out with family and friends and really enjoy yourself. Too many people don't have that luxury. I feel bad for the people that don't have days like this to experience! I took a few pictures, so I'll try to post those later!
