Is it Friday yet?

It's pretty bad when you're asking yourself - and anyone else who will listen - this same question ... ON MONDAY! :) Ha! One of those weeks. VERY busy with work, but I'm quick to stop complaining. It's all about job security in my eyes! So it's been quite hectic around here as some of you know, and just trying to work it out the best we can. Cam has been on Fall break this week, and left for a mini-vacation last Saturday with Grandma Denise and Papa Mike. They headed to California for a visit with Mickey Mouse! They got back last night and he had an absolute blast. I'm pretty sure Grandma and Papa will need some recovery time. 12 hours at Disneyland - on two different days - earns some serious grandparenting patches in my book! They also spent some time at the Vans Skatepark and he was in heaven. He saw "Wee Man" - a skateboarder, actor, and "little person" at the park. For those of you who have seen the "Jackass" movies, well, he's a staple character. At any rate, he was excited to see him, and after explaining to grandma and papa that he was famous, they kept their eyes out for him so Cam could get an autograph. Ended up following him out of the skatepark into the mall area and caught up to him. Apparently one of the NICEST people in the world and was soooo accommodating when Cameron went up to him and asked for an autograph. He signed his skateboard, and was just as gracious to pose in a picture with him. Cam was in heaven. He informed me that he went on California Adventure 14 times, and the newest ride for all of them was the Tower of Terror - loved it! As soon as I get some pictures, I'll post them! I was anxious to get my baby back - I missed him! Although I have to admit, Bryan and I did have a great weekend just hanging out. Needless to say, he's back and exhausted! Excited to have a couple more days of his break before heading back to school on Monday. :) Enjoying our weather here - it was actually cold this weekend, but back into the 90's this week. Definitely not as hot as it has been, so we are finally able to enjoy being outside! Wish I had something a bit more exciting to post, but it just ain't gonna happen today!
