So I had made chili over the weekend to throw in the crockpot for dinner on Monday. (See the recipe below ... it is soooo easy and really good! Shari - I saw your comments on the other post ... and I can relate. Bryan is definitely the cook in our household. Try this one - it might help redeem yourself!). Anyway, Cam actually had some of the leftovers a couple of times in his lunch. I asked him if it was warm enough in his thermos at lunch and he said "kind of." So I warmed it up a bit more the next time. I asked him if the temp was better, it was, and then asked him, "Did you use the crackers for your chili?" I might as well have been from Mars with the look he gave me ... he answers, "Nooo, I used my spoon ..."
Had to laugh on that one. So technical. I guess "use" wasn't the best word choice for my question ...
Easy Crockpot Chili 
6-8 servings - 20 min. prep
1 lb. hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1 16 oz. can black beans - undrained
1 16 oz. can garbanzo beans or chick peas - undrained
1 16 oz. can kidney beans - undrained
1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, with juice
1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 packet chili seasoning
1. Cook hamburger and onion in frying pan over medium high heat
2. Drain off fat and transfer cooked meat and onion to crockpot
3. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well
4. Cook on high 6-8 hours
