One more day!

Hopefully everyone is ready for Christmas ... Cameron and I are headed out shortly for a couple of last minute things. I'm pretty sure I will NOT be doing any shopping tomorrow. Well that's the plan anyway. Have some things to finish up for Bryan over at the shop - we've got carpet and paint in the pro shop, so we should be able to move some things out of my garage soon! Yay! And ... electricity should be on today sometime ... Double Yay. No more using the generator! Tentatively have plans for dinner with my parents and grandma who is in town, and this little lady has a WHOLE LOTTA wrapping to do still! Think it might be a good night for some wine. Or Bailey's and coffee. Or both.  :)

So how 'bout them Beavs? Yeap. Not so good for me. Watched the game with some friends - which was great - the friends part, not the game. Saw how incredibly windy and nasty the weather was in Vegas, and was a touch relieved that we couldn't make that trip work. Even more so when mom sent a text saying they had left the game and were watching it in a bar. Nice. Maybe next year guys!

I wanted to give a little rundown on the picture below. I had this in a new post as a draft a while ago, and never clicked on the "publish" button. This was meant to be posted a while ago, and I didn't want to just pass it off. Too important. This is an incredible picture that shows my cousing sitting on top of the Tacoma Dome in Washington as he fulfills his duties as a sniper by providing security during the Lakewood memorial. He's the one with the binoculars. He is standing by his fellow brothers and sisters honoring the 4 Lakewood, Washington officers that were murdered. Thank you for all you do (and the rest of my cousins that are "public servants"). Be safe - we love you!
