Yes, Virginia,

there is ice in Arizona.
See??!!!  I told you ... for all those who don't think it ever gets cold in Arizona, this picture proves you wrong. Our fountain was frozen over this morning and there are actually icicles hanging.  :)

Oh - so much to catch up on! I'm getting really horrible about blogging. I think it might be because I'm on a computer all day for work, then I'm constantly making updates to the SK8 ASYLUM website, the SK8 ASYLUM FB page, returning emails, filling out applications, and honestly? ... I look forward to logging off the computer. So, forgive me. I've been bad. Sorry.  :(  So last post was Thanksgving, hope you all had a great Turkey Day. Friends and family, and friends who are considered family sooooo make the Holidays fun! We had such a nice day and have some pics to show below. Decided to forego the "Turkey" this year, and went for a nice 14lb prime rib instead. It was gladly accepted by all, and we're proud to report that the kids are not emotionally scarred by not eating turkey on Thanksgiving. Well at least we don't think they are. Will find out next year ...

Bryan giving dad the "bird's eye view" in the shop ... the bloody mary cost him extra.

Mommy and Reagan - sooo cute!

And ... to answer your questions: 1) Yes, that's the prime rib  2) No, it didn't burn and it tasted FANTASTIC and ... 3) Yes, Bryan does own a belt. Wearing it, however, is optional.

So that was our Thanksgiving! Celebrated Kailee's birthday on Saturday with a barbecue, presents and birthday cake. Can't believe she's already 7!  Wow!  Rest of the weekend was spent running errands and "shopping" for park/shop furniture and equipment. Very tiring but it's getting there! Rest of the week was pretty normal - busy as usual, and nothing TOO exciting.  However, this:

was extremely disappointing. Sad. So. Very. Sad. Had a GREAT time watching it though. Headed over to the Heil's for some dinner and drinks and watched the game. Pretty bummed with them Beavs, but oh well. We'll see what's in store for them within the next few weeks. Oh, and go Ohio State. Headed out for a skate session now ... will check back soon! Promise!
